Infosys Interview

I appeared a face to face interview in Infosys few days back& here is my experience.

I got a  call from a consultancy 3/4 weeks back .they ‘er looking for Oracle SCM consultant with 5-7 yrs of exp. I sent my profile and next day I got  a call that my profile is short listed and I would be required to appear a F2F interview in Hinjewadi office (pune).

I got a mail with the venue details just 4-5 days before my interview. I reached the interview on time & to my surprise the interview also started on time.

Interviewer 1:  old qs. Tell me something about ur bg
after 10-15sec another person entered the room. After my introduction the second person started asking qs
Interviewer 2: What is core competency area
me : SCM & a bit fin
Interviewer 2 :  Gave a scinerio
You have 3 mfg plants – one in pune, one in banglore & one in US
how ‘ll you map this in oracle. What ‘ll be the organizational structure
Me : explained how it can be done in R12 /11i#
Interviewer 2 :  what is the difference between GRE/LE and LE
Interviewer 2 :  At what level supplier & customer details are stored – Inv, OU, LE
Interviewer 2 :  IS this the best way or should oracle change it…do you know the structure in fusion application
Interviewer 2 :  About my last project & client
me : client was mfg

Interviewer 2 :  Accounting structure of that client
Interviewer 2 :  How the accounting structure would change if that company starts provide services as well
Interviewer 2 :  Can I change the charge account of a PO?
Interviewer 2 :  what is the difference between item validation org in system parameters and OE : Item validation org
Interviewer 2 :  what is a Back to Back process
Interviewer 2 :  Difference between cycle count & Physical inventory
Interviewer 2 :  Usage of descending value report
Interviewer 2 :  what is the formula of EOQ
Interviewer 2 :  it was problem on MPS. He gave me a paper & told me to find out what ‘ll be the ATP & Projected on hand balance
Result – Yep I got selected with a good packg 13+
